Experienced Employee: My company is great. The benefits are unbeatable! You have education, health, dental, optical, car insurance, life insurance, 401k, contribution matching, PTO, the only draw back is the fact that there is no maternity leave. They make women take short term disability instead. You do get free use of the pulse bus line. There are so many benefits its hard to list them all. Experienced Employee: Currently working as a patient care technician while working towards obtaining my nursing degree. While there are some hard days (especially with COVID-19), my unit staff is always there for each other and we make it through the hardships. We are a huge family here and there is not another place I would want to work. You walk down the halls and each employee is so friendly saying hi, regardless of knowing you or not. While St. Mary's probably will not be my forever home (I want to move south), I know that the time I have here will always be a blessing. Experienced Employee: The pay is great for a grocery store, the people are friendly, and the morning leadership is phenomenal. They are personable and don't dilly-dally when things with other employees, vendors, etc. need to be dealt with. Even as a part time employee TSP matches up to 3% and invests another 1% of their own accord. Just like any other retail, the only holidays the store is closed are Thanksgiving and Christmas. As a part time employee I am scheduled 24 hrs per week, and rather than getting all 24 hours knocked out in 3 or 4 days, they spread it across a 5 day period, which isn't bad, but it would be ideal to get all the hours taken care of at one time.... Experienced Employee: Brinks is a local grocery store which currently has 210 active employees. It is a family owned business since 1919. There are 17 family members that currently work there and it is a wonderful company to work for. Employees are able to choose any hours they wish to work every week, even if it is only 2 hours per week. The company makes it possible, for those of us that attend high school or college, to work around our school schedule and exams.
