Experienced Employee: I like that the pay is decent or fair. Full timers accumulate a pension for retirement, and good benefits are offered. Full timers also receive annual pay-raises, but pool employees do not qualify for retirement pension and no annual raises, only one flat pay rate which is a pretty good rate but then your stuck on that rate for as long as you stay pool. Also, there is no room advancement. Depending which hospital location your in and who’s the supervisor at that location, some favoritism seems to play a role which is unfortunate. Manager / Director: Memorial Regional Hospital is more than just a Hospital. It is a place where everyone wants to come and work because it's not just a workplace. Everyone is a family and most importantly treats and cares for its patients like they are also a part of the family. They are patient and family centered care. If there is one thing that I would like to see change is the children's emergency room be closer to the children's hospital. It is confusing for parents when taking a child to the ER and they drive to the entrance of Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, when in reality the ER is located on the side of Memorial Regional Hospital. Experienced Employee: My experience with G4S is fairly good. The location I was given to conduct my Armed Security duties is only 10 minutes away from where I live, in addition to being on of the highest paying posts of Las Vegas. The pay is very good for a Security company, compared to other companies. The Armed Security Officers are carefully picked based on their previous or current Military and Law Enforcement experience. That helps me have a strong and proficient team I get to work with. I wish there were more holidays that got paid time and half, such as Easter. I am not very familiar with the company's benefits, as I already receive benefits from the Military. I do wish there were better growth opportunities.
