Entry Level Employee: Overall my experience at UW Health has been positive. We did have a problem with staffing shortages as did all of healthcare, but management has really focused on this issue and it has gotten alot better. Pay is still not at the level most would want, but leadership did also focus on this and has improved it from what it was. The people that work at UW Health are some of the best people I know. Experienced Employee: Great wolf lodge has helped me make some of my best friends. The work environment comes with all the ups and downs a job has, but it has great managers and supervisors, that for the most part, are there for their employees. It had great discounts and benefits which make it appealing to stay at the lodge as a valued Pack member. The Great wolf lodge hosts many Pack lever appreciation events that show how much the lodge cares about the employees. They work with everyone’s hours and are flexible with everything. Experienced Employee: My overall experience working at Great Wolf Lodge is fantastic. I started working for the company when I was 15 and soon became a well-known face throughout the aquatics department. After about 6 months of working there I applied for the Alpha Guard position, and against 20 other applicants, with 10 spots available and received the position along with 4 of my co-workers. I was very proud of myself when I received that position because I was the only one who wasn't at least 18 years old. Throughout my time there I have consistently been a symbol of leadership. As many of my leaders have come and gone they have always left me with the words of don't stop growing, and I never plan to stop. I have been working here for 2 and a half years fine tuning my skills and plan to soon apply for the supervisor position that we have available, because I feel I have learned and experienced enough for me to feel confident in a supervisor role and learn everything new that comes with it.... Experienced Employee: I did not ever think that I would enjoy being a customer service rep. I am a full time student and work at Dean Health Plan full time. Here's what's great: -Set schedule, with opportunities to change this twice yearly -Decent wages if you're smart with your money -EASY job-I cannot stress enough how easy this job is if you actually come to work to do a job, not socialize or look at your phone all day There are a lot of people who are not friendly, or two-faced. This is true of any corporation. There are no opportunities for overtime, HOWEVER, there is also no work to take home with you, and no one calling you on a day off to come in. There are also regular, and plentiful opportunities for education and job advancement. Again, if you are actually there to do your job, you will be rewarded. Decent health insurance, average PTO and company perks, good student reimbursement. I will most likely be looking for a job within SSM Health/Dean Health Plan after I graduate in December....
