Experienced Employee: Teaching at a K-12 school is inherently demanding and the schedule is, perhaps, necessarily taxing. You will find both characteristics present at the Academy for Classical Education. But insofar as one is prepared to shoulder the responsibilities of the profession, ACE is an excellent school in which to find employment. The administration strives and excels in reducing bureaucratic overhead. Pay is good, health benefits are fantastic, and, despite exogenous pressures, management seems determined to provide students with a substantive education as opposed merely to a test-driven one.
