Experienced Employee: Speedway is a gas/ diesal and convenience store. We bought out Hess Stations about five years ago. We are about to be taken over by 7-11 Stations. Th e issue is that there are several smaller type stations. Many have been around years.Theyare being bought up by the bigger chains now. The issue is that these smaller stations have not kept up with the times. In our area we have Rutters that is established is but they are not keeping present stores updated. WAWA started in Philadelphia area is moving west towards us. Sheetz started in Erie moved south to us. Besides attractivness of stores the issue is food. We have lots of candy and packaged food. We used to be tied in with Duncan Donuts. This gave us their coffee and donuts. We have our own brand of coffee and only six types of donuts now. We have a breakfast we make every four hours . We have a main menu six items we make fresh every four hours. The others have much bigger menus and everything is made to order.... Read 48 reviews

COVID, during the year of 2020, was a very trying time and very exhausting on the healthcare workers-those who work directly with patients and those who are supportive members. I am proud of my co-workers for remaining integrous, and compassionate for the many, many patients they were assigned, day in and day out. There were many times where the hospital was understaffed due to the numerous patients that the hospital had to care for, the hospital staff adapted to units changing their care focus (heart and vascular turning into a COVID unit for example), and even still, remained compassionate to those who walked through the hospital doors.... Entry Level Employee: I am from the Dayton, OH and started working for the Kettering Health Network about 2 years ago. The emphasis put on the employee's holistic needs is wonderful. I also appreciate the spiritual and service aspects of the organization. They offer many employee perks and discounts. The benefits they provide are also pretty nice. My favorite would have to be the tuition assistance program. They give you a pretty nice amount which has paid for the majority of my graduate degree. Consequently, I will owe the organization two years of service after I complete my degree. Senior Employee: The medical field is a challenging line of work and not for everyone. Patient that are in chronic pain can be more demanding than other patients as you can probably imagine. Fortunately, I work with a great group of people and a the administrations is very easy to talk to. All of the staff are very supportive of each other and the patients. If a staff member is having a problem there are several other co-workers available to step in and help out. If I could change one thing about my job it would be the the process that the insurance companies have set up to get an authorization for a medication of a procedure.
