Experienced Employee: I workin the Texas office and have been there over3 years. Pennymac has a vibrant culture and leadership roles are always being promoted. There are many opportunities for those who speak up as well as those who always go above and beyond in their daily work. Really good place to work. There are also allot of opportunities to transition into other positions and even cross train. The interview process is reasonable and fundamentals training class for new hires is exceptional. Co workers are very tenured and knowledgeable on the mortgage industry. This company needs new faces and views on mortgage to further drive its binges towards excelling against other competition. PennMac is centrally located in the DFW metroplex and does give you an opportunity to make your schedule fit into your life and what works for you. Cons: Pay should increase with cost of living. Human resources could improve by becoming more pro employee, if they truly listen to employees needs and concerns, good and positive changes could occur. Experienced Employee: This is an awesome retail company to work for- we sell clothes, but we’re also in the business to save our planet. Our stores give grants to local environmental non profits, we get paid to volunteer at creek clean ups, and we get reimbursed to ride our bike to work. This is not your typical retail store! Our atmosphere is laid back but compassionate and supportive towards our customer’s needs.
