Experienced Employee: I relocated from California to Hendrick Medical Center. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. There is a strong sense of community being there are many employees from other states working here. The hospital welcomes experienced nurses and takes into consideration others experience to better the hospital. The benefits, especially health coverage could be better. Hendricks incorporates an annual health testing with parameters that must be met in order to receive discounts on rates. This does not seem equal.

Experienced Employee: I am a Charge RN on the Adolescent / Fragile Geri unit and enjoy my position. I help the young and the old to cope with everyday life and stressors. My peers make a great team and the Doctors are excellent. The scheduling hours are great. I have plenty of time to work and play. Each unit is truly a family within themselves. Administration peers are an awesome lot also, and do what they can to help each individual member of the team. There are many learning opportunities at Oceans also.

The customer base is the kindest I have ever worked with, and they are always friendly, even if you are backed up on drinks a bit.
