Experienced Employee: Working at Apple was a great experience. Work never felt like work because I loved what I did and I loved interacting with the public. The store was always electric, although others may say crazy. I'd say electric because the experience was exhilarating. The managers were not so great but higher up were very understanding when it came down to my personal problems and they were never above doing what they asked of their employees. The benefits and pay were amazing for a full time job so this job was not flexible at all and have a two year probationary period. Working for a company with a brand such as Apple and experience to match that brand made me want to stay forever but changed different managers. Experienced Employee: Chegg is a good tutoring job that pays well, but there are some problems with the website's system. The coding for the website isn't perfect and the student-tutor lesson space has niche little bugs that need tweaking. Chegg tutor support is fast and polite but at times the e-mail system is not perfect. I'd say the worst thing when working for Chegg is the obnoxious amount of e-mails they send regarding tutoring jobs that are available when you're not online. If employees are burned out, bored with what they are doing, or interested in a different aspect of the company, Symantec is always willing and supportive to help open doors to individual success. Symantec's company culture does annoy me at times, I feel like corporate makes decisions without talking to lower level management and employees that are on the front line who will be most affected by their decisions. Manager / Director: I currently work in their South American location and the opportunity has been great! The fact that they hired me with little tech experience and no knowledge of storage-based technology is awesome. They have a very well planned out training environment. The training lasts about 2 and a half months with a few weeks of hands-on training on the floor. They send senior engineers weekly to help and make sure things are running smoothly.
