Experienced Employee: I was not fond of the particular job. Did not like the short break time. it was 2 breaks i 15 minutes and the next 30 minutes and you cannot combine them. especially as a sitter it's uncomfortable staying and supervising one person for an 8 hour shift to only get 30 minutes. Being in a large hospital you only get 20 minutes max to relax and eat the other ten is spent going back and forth to the unit you were assigned to. You can also feel a sense of hierarchy, people and staff spoke to you in a certain tone based on your position. A doctor would get the most respect and smile versus a clinical care tech. The hospital is not all bad but certain things just need a second look on

Entry Level Employee: This hospital takes particular care in making all their employees feel safe and welcome. This safety and care mostly comes from the administrative side and they host mandatory classes to try and get all employees on board with creating a safe and happy workplace. The downside is that the hospital has a not so great reputation in the town for being a bad place to be a patient.

Volunteer: Degrak is great because if you show up late, or do not show up at all, you still get paid the same, that is, since it is more like a charity, you do not get paid at all. It is volunteer work to help those around us, such as the rabbits, skunks and squirrels, and of course the many birds.

Volunteer: J.A.Y Construction is an excellent company who does not stop until the job is done right. A while back, my house was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy in LBI. J.A.Y Construction repaired my home and elevated it so my home would be protected in the future storms.
