Entry Level Employee: It was an alright job. I had the chance to grow as a person during my time there.
During my time at Subway, I learned how to communicate and interact with customers, and it showed me how to work with a team. My responsibilities were very simple, I had to keep our store clean. Another thing I liked about my store was that it was small, a small space didn't really require much cleaning. One of my other tasks was to prep food before the next day, so our veggies were always fresh. Since it was my first job I was first nervous when I started. One advantage I had was that I spoke Spanish, and I managed to use my bilingual skills, they came in handy. The only reason I really left was that my parents needed help to take care of my younger siblings. I would recommend this job to anyone whose beginning their first job. One bad factor is the pay, I was paid 8.25 an hour and for my first job, I considered it ok. My coworkers were an interesting bunch, I was taught how to "properly" make a sub.... Read 170 reviews
