Entry Level Employee: The job/career experiences seem to depend on the department and management one falls under. Like every job, there are pros and cons. Some of the same cons seem to exist here as they do in many places; staffing is not ideal for certain positions, understaffed/just the right amount of people staffed for ideal situations (which does not always happen); some management does not appreciate their employees and their hard work. But on the flip side, there are some excellent managers who do go above for their staff. In general, the staff help each other. Some innovation to bring certain systems into a more ideal method would help in many departments (mainly the inventory system, using retail style vs warehouse). The biggest benefit would come from consulting and getting feedback from those in positions to work with the changes that are made. Decisions are made on such a high level, they may not see how certain things impact/effect the job because they are looking at the bigger picture.... Read 8 reviews

Niche User: I love working for Delaware Families for Hands and Voices. We are a Parent driven organization. Our main focus is advocacy for our Deaf and Hard of Hearing kids, and being able to educate other families in the same situation. We strive to teach families with babies or children, that having a hearing loss is not the end of the world. We teach families about all the modes of communication. I love working with all the Parent Guides and designing the webpage. The only thing i would want to change, would be to have more Deaf Rolemodels in our Organization, but we are working on this.
