All employees/volunteers are encouraged to attend SBC conferences and seminars at the expense of the church. It is very family friendly and the hosts monthly pot-luck lunches, special event Bar-B-Ques, and several other community events. Some community events include spring and fall parking lot sales, the annual Toys for Tots Christmas Party, and summertime fishing trips. Employees, volunteers, and congregation members all work together to continually improve the church grounds and buildings.

Experienced Employee: When I started work here I did not expect to stay for as long as I have. The work environment is amazing, your co-workers care for you. The pay is not ideal as you atart at minimum wage and basicly stay there. But the hours are flexible and I am able to bring my 2 children to work with me if I need to. They do offer "sick time" and "vacation time" for full time employees, only "sick time" for the part timers.

Experienced Employee: I love the work schedule that allows me to have a lot of three day weekends. I enjoy the ladder and the room to move up with just experience, although school will allow me to become a part of management. I enjoy traveling all around Kern County and performing different task. I like making an impact on the Earth and helping save our environment. I like the options we have for medical plans. I like the options we have for retirement accounts. I like driving the government vehicles to all of our sites and not having to use my own vehicle or gas.

Niche User: Murray Family Farms was my first job high school and for college and they were beyond amazing for me. The hours were great and scheduling was great. Most of the crew were in school so they understood school was first. Family members of the business were in school as well so the farm definitely supported everyone for being in school and encouraged them to finish. My experience was great it taught me customer service, deal with money, and manage. Such a great place to enjoy the day and meet outstanding people.
