Experienced Employee: Benefits fair, Insurance offered is terrible- must use WCHN physicians in order to not pay out of pocket, pay is mediocre according to position- raises are fair as long as you stay on your managers “good side”. Management lacking in physician offices- offices run by “Practice Administrators” that are rarely present causing a chaotic work environment with any true “leader”, No RN present- LPN’s and MA’s preforming tasks that are out of their scope of practice.

Experienced Employee: At Ethan Allen in Torrance, CA I felt like I was a part of a team. There was always someone willing to assist in a design project. We constantly were learning new ways of selling and connecting with clients. The product was quality, the company was eco-consciensous and trendy so, I could really get behind it and sell it. There were enough options so I could really custom design a space for my client. Even my clients who had particular ideas could feel satisfied with Ethan Allen products. About half of the staff in Torrance has been working there for over 10 years and that says a lot about how wonderful the company treats their employees. I actually worked there in 2005 for a few years then came back 10 years later. The company had changed for the better to keep up with modern times which proves they are open to change if it is in the benefit of the employees and consumer. I am grateful for my time there. They have a wonderful retirement program and excellent benefits.

The areas of improvement are needed in career path options. They are currently working this out to make it more visible for where you could go with the proper in-house training. I think after this is established and visibility is there, morale with go up.
