Experienced Employee: My sites contract does health insurance, and the pay doesn’t match the work we do. In my opinion, base pay should start at $18 an hour to deal with the mess that is the American healthcare system. The parking lot is huge so don’t expect to get your full breaks, you’ll spend a fourth of them getting to your vehicle. (Trust me you’ll want the quiet and privacy after a while). The ATO (approved time off) is by far the best thing about the job. If they don’t need everyone there that day, they offer people the opportunity to leave (not paid of course but still awesome). The job comes with a script and most callers are pleasant (usually confused but nice) so it can be easy depending on who you talk to and what they need. But, the irate callers are the worst, the seating arrangements is horrid (no assigned seats and any shifts after 9:30am good luck getting a seat on time unless you’re early), and the pay could be better.... Entry Level Employee: ManTech International Corporation offers a great Benefits package for their employees. The compensation is competitive for new grads and young professionals. ManTech often is a contractor for the federal government and therefore you share a lot of the work/life benefits of a government employee. The time you can come and leave work is flexible and is easy for different family situations to still have their life outside of work. for instance I come to work before 6:00am and leave around 3:00pm Monday through Thursday. Every other Friday is off which is again nice! The time off package is also generous for new grads and young professionals. My only caveat with the company is that I do not know how much room for growth they have in a professional setting, however they do provide an extremely generous continuing education plan....
