These tasks may include transportation, grocery shopping, housework, preparing meals. Also giving assistance with getting dressed, getting out of bed, help with eating, and incontinence. This company has taught me to be there for seniors because you never know how much a person might need you.

Experienced Employee: Moving from a smaller city in Iowa, coming to Methodist is the best decision I have ever made. Pay compensation is appropriate, there are safe and appropriate RN to patient ratios. My unit is fast paced and great teamwork. Positive and friendly atmosphere/culture on my unit as well! It truly is a great place to work and a unique atmosphere. We try to make it as comfortable as possible for the children and their parents and I feel as if we do a great job. The most rewarding thing is to see parents bring their children back to the hospital after they have healed and tell us how much they appreciated the care they receive. That warms my heart every single time!

Some departments are ran poorly compared to others. My first department was very busy and there was no support from our leaders.
