Senior Employee: RAETC is an emergency animal hospital that prides itself in its care of sick and injured animals. Everyday is a part of the unknown. It could be a slow day where we may see a few patients or it could be extremely busy where we would see patients nonstop all day and all night. I enjoyed never knowing what to expect for my day and he fact that it was never the same. I enjoyed being able to meet people from all over as well as their pets. It is an amazing feeling to see a dog or cat come into the hospital one day almost on death's doorstep and seeing them walk out of the hospital a few days later like nothing ever happened. This job has taught me that life can change in the blink of an eye and you can never take anything for granted whether it comes to animals or humans. It has taught me to be detailed and organized, quick and efficient, and it has broadened my knowledge about animals as well as helped me become a more compassionate person than I was before....
