I worked at Rue21 for 8 months. Where I learned many valuable tips regarding sales and how to catch customers' attention. Throughout my experience at Rue21, one of my main goals as a salesperson was to sell multiple fragrances daily. It was crucial for me to fill customers' expectations and help them have a placid experience. As an associate, it was my duty to interact with customers and inform them about deals, discounts, and new products. It was my pleasure to help customers pick the best option for them. Moreover, I moved to the United States six years ago making me bilingual, while working at Rue21 I provided a lot of help to different backgrounds customers. Making sure everyone was content with my service .Rue21 it is a great job where I learned valuable skills, during my lasts months at Rue21 we had a new manager. Which was not quite prepared for the job and did not provide customers and the store the proper attention it needed. She was not professional and super biased.
Rue 21 is a very good place to work for my mental health. I have a lot of bad anxiety, and I'm unable to hold a lot of jobs, but I've had no problems with this job. My coworkers feel like family and everyone is very friendly and supportive of each other. Working here has also helped me feel more confident with myself and how I communicate with others. One downside is that the pay is not good. I only make minimum wage and there's little to no room for growth.
My Overall experience at Rue21 is great. Flexible work hours, great location, and family-like environment.
