This past year has been challenge during the Covid-19 Pandemic, but Roper has shown their appreciation for their employees by donating money from the Medical Society to the employees of practices that closed for a couple of months. Meanwhile, other hospital systems in the Charleston area were laying off healthcare workers. I started in the wound care department within the hospital. After three years, I wanted to utilize my skills and work closer to home, so I transferred to the resource pool and then to the Express Care, closer to my home. I work three, 12 hour shifts a week with the opportunity to get over-time when there is a need and I have a rotating schedule that I know six months in advance. I also have the holidays off to spend time with loved ones. After I graduate from Nursing school, I plan to work for Roper for the rest of my medical career.
Wonderful place to work with competitive play with other hospitals in the areas. This organization does a significant amount of community work with homeless shelters, Habitat for Humanity, Free exams, Free job search. The also work closely with Trident United Way to help those struggling in the community.
Very people friendly. The patient is first at the facility. They are very community oriented and do a bunch charity driven endeavors.
I love this place, my supervisor is so wonderful and work very hard to make sure everything go well and we are happy
I like the teamwork that we have. My co-workers look out for one another to ensure that we are not overwhelmed.
Better Management, my most recent manager wasn't so friendly. He spoke when he wanted to. I felt like his attitude determined a lot of his personally.
I like working here because it was fast paced and working on patient accounts had different solutions. Overall, the people was great to work for as well.
