I am a QuadMed employee. Wages are slightly higher than in my area, I have the opportunity to work from home, and the employees at the clients I work for are great. The medical model is very unique and inspiring. While the company has been around for 26 years, they are working to reinvent themselves and it really seems only 2-3 years into this new reinvention. Employee retention has been pretty abysmal, but they have strengthened benefits to work on that. Prospective employees in administrative positions should be ready for long, demanding hours and the potential for burnout. However, if you believe in the mission and vision, I believe that employees who have weathered this current storm will be rewarded on the other side.
My experience is awesome, I get to travel and see the world. Supervisors are easy to talk to and work for you not against you.
I love the experience I have got from the company over the years from the people to the knowledge I have gained from the different experiences I have encountered. I hope they will soon have better benefits for students who are looking to get tuition reimbursement.
