Pratt & Whitney Reviews

The have educational opportunities which is a great benefit to working there. For example, the have an onsite location that teaches individuals about lean practices. Also, they allow people the opportunity to learn about manufacturing. They also provide funding for going to school. They will fund a level of education for each degree level i.e. undergrad and masters. They also provide containing education that is specific to your department. For example, they will pay for CLE Continuing Legal Education, manufacturing specific education, Information Technology specific education. Additionally, you there is a center that individuals can go to to learn more about the products the company makes. Also, the company will pay for employees to attend conferences that are related to the department they work for and that will further their knowledge related to the work they do for the company. Thus, from an educational standpoint this company does provide opportunities to its employee base.
Pratt and Whitney is a great place to work. The best advantage of working here is the Employee Scholarship program. The program will pay for the tuition fees like textbooks. Next, the company is a very dynamic and growing company that value all their employees. They respect and honor everyone. Also, they give bonuses to people who can help improve their process flows. I was able to receive over 3,000 dollars of bonus working here for 3 and a half years. During my time here I worked at a production mechanic in Lansing Michigan. We are a union. The company does treat us very well. We relieve yearly employment gears such as shirts, lunch bags, and coffee mugs. I have quarterly employee engagement events. Some events are golf outing, cookouts during lunchtime, and sand bag tossing. I enjoyed this place a lot and the pay was very good. I was avergaing over 65,000 a year working here. Unfornately because of COVID-19 there was a massive furlough. I am not working there anymore.
Amazing company with amazing people. Everyone is friendly and management is wonderful! I worked there for an internship and was greeted with open arms. Everyone was willing to help and treated me as an equal. I was able to be a part of a lot more than I was anticipating as an intern!
