Management could always be better. More appreciation for ALL staff members. Seemingly their focus is more for the registered nurses. The hospital has a huge celebration for nurses week and gives out many prizes and such. Administrative professionals have one day that is celebrated but not much is done for appreciation. I'm not quite sure if Environmental services or food and nutrition have a special day that is celebrated. If there is it is not related or made to be important.
At PRMC is a hard working hospital that I have always been interested in working in. Back in high school I was a volunteer and I have always was proud to be part of this hospital. When my life finally came around and I was able to become an employee it was a proud day for me. I work in the Emergency Department as a Patient care Tech. I learn something new everyday and now I think it is time for me to go to college so I can improve myself to I can do more for PRMC.
I love working here. The 12 hour shifts are wonderful for parents and allows me ample time off to take care of my family. Additional, the upper management is very involved in patient care and ensuring excellent services is provided to patients.
