The pay is very unfair as far as management and up. I was a manager making less than my employees below me so I changed positions.
I worked part-time as a team member in high school, making the bottom of minimum wage. Rush hours, especially on busy days, are dreadful and you are worked way past that $7.25. Literally, any other job pays more, and you don't have to be stressed as much.
The pay is the lowest I've ever received in my 7 years of working at various places of employment, though they do flexible scheduling should I need it, and they're very understanding people.
One of my all time favorite jobs, I was a pizza delivery driver and loved almost every second of it. I loved seeing so many new faces everyday and I loved working as a team with my coworkers to bring joy (and pizza!) to others! Flexible schedules, easy learning curve, and good times listening to music while delivering pizza!
I worked as a shift lead manager. You get paid pretty poorly and hardly get raises. Some of the things you have to deal with definitely aren't worth the pay. However, they're extremely flexible with you're schedule. I also happened to work with amazing people, but other than that, wouldn't recommend to anyone unless you just need a weekend job.
Worked for the company as a cashier and as my first job. Easy enough, nice people, good pizza. Would recommend.
I like that everyone works together to create a good workplace. The team members and management are very friendly and love to make work as comfortable as possible while still getting the job done.
I worked at a papa johns franchise that was attached to a gas station, and we had about three near us and two further away. I enjoyed my time there because the work pace was good and I worked mostly by myself. I got timely promotions and my boss was great.
I like how easy the job because I was simply a team member but, shift leaders had to deal with the majority of the problems; it not only led to drama but caused employees to be burned out.
The people are great, but due to overstaffing and a large delivery area its hard to make ends meet. The management see the issues but ownership keeps their hands tied.
Working in food will always be stressful, but the people I worked with made it enjoyable. Flexible hours and food is always available.
I liked my coworkers. The compensation could have been better considering how much work was on my plate.
Papa John's is a good starter job for teenagers who just need pocket cash. I've worked, and still currently work, at Papa John's for a year now. It's an easy job but it can get stressful during rushes. There's only a few set people who have stayed at the store while others come and go. It's very low pay for the amount of work you do but it builds character and readiness for bigger, more tedious jobs in the future.
I like most things about my job except the manager takes forever to get rid of kid workers who don’t actually work. She is almost afraid to address his behavior and how it is effecting the product to the client
It's really fun to work at Papa John's. I actually work at the one on meridian but this is the only one that showed up. aside from a few people that suck its a really great work experience, perfect for someone just starting to work.
it was decent. really nice people that worked there. it was like one big family with every body that worked there. every time i go it is a great experience. i love their pizza and wings.
The owners, management, and employees are all amazing. There's an overall sense of joy and pride working there. The company offers advancement opportunities and many options to learn.
