Northrop Grumman Reviews
Rating 4.41 out of 5 41 reviews
Northrop Grumman is a large enough company that intra-company movement is fairly easy with the right support. I communicated when I was unsatisfied with my role with my manager, and they were able to find me a new role that I enjoy much more. I feel as though my manager is invested in my career growth, even if it isn't under them, and the range of programs that NG provides makes me feel like I'll always have options in what I want to do.
Northrop Grumman has excellent benefits to include a generous 401k match and education program. Salary is often slightly lower than competitors but made up for by benefits. Average age tends to be older and upward mobility is heavily reliant on your position, location, and willingness to relocate.
This is a great company. The amount of talent is beyond anything anyone can imagine. They range from software engineers, software developers, accounting, business, management, and more! Also, the value of performing great quality products the first time. The challenges are there though between politics and advancing ones career, but the intentions are not always justified. One thing I would like to add is they have great benefits when it comes to furthering education or investing for retirement. Overall, this a great company.
