Prospective employees must understand that the company culture depends almost entirely on the department you work within and the people and co-workers who surround you. I have worked in departments where the co-workers have become lifelong friends, and I have worked in departments that have discouraged my ideas, goals, and personality.
Great pay, great people. All around great experience. Highly recommend this employer. Work culture was inviting and inclusive. Opportunities to grow were available if you kept your eyes open. Learning from senior producers and executives was valuable and priceless.
It’s an on call position, decently paid but shifts are hard to get specially if you are looking for weekend shifts. They give you uniforms and food for all shifts. It’s a good side job since you pick your shifts and you can go a month without working and it’s completely fine with them but if you are trying to get your 40 hours a week it may become challenging specially in the summer which is low season for catering.
