Mount Sinai Hospital Reviews
Great staff! They always try to keep you updated about changes. Sometimes they become standoff if you request a day off, even though you tell them the reason why and you let them know more than one month in advance. Coworkers are easy to get along with. If you ever have a question turn to your coworkers first.
Overall, mount sinai hospital is a great place to work. Although I feel that the environment is competitive and the hours long, I believe I am doing meaningful work and helping to advance my career at the same time. The hospital does offer tuition reimbursement, and in my field, research, my particular lab provides reimbursement for professional conferences attended that are relevant to the work being done in the lab. At times the efficiency of the group could be a bit better, I still believe that the positive aspects of working at this hospital outweigh the negative ones.
Volunteering at Mount Sinai Medical Hospital at 96th Street is great. From the gregariousness of the staff in X-Ray, CT, and the emergency department this experience has solidified my dream for attending medical school. Aside from this, the staff cares about one another and management is always helps to aid someone professionally. Employees also take great care to respond to patients.
