MOD Pizza Reviews
MOD was an excellent experience and taught me not only hard work but gave me the opportunity to grow. I worked at mod for 3 years and moved up to a captains position. Working here you will find your family and life long friends- I have developed bonds with coworkers that I know will last a life time. It is a fun and fast paced environment so be ready to constantly be busy! My only complaint is how they are becoming a franchise, so the "Mod Attitude" of expressing yourself in a fun workplace is not really there anymore which is the reason I left, they care more about reviews and following what everyone else is doing (such as competing with Blaze and Pieology) that they no longer care about their employees like they once did.
This has been my favorite job so far! I have made many lifelong friendships, and have been offered many opportunities for growth. The managers are very flexible with the schedule, and try to make sure that everyone is happy with the amount of hours they work. The tips are usually very nice and tend to be included in the biweekly paychecks. Overall, a great company to work for and I would recommend it as a job for any other college students that need flexible hours.
It is a fun place to work where the team members are encouraged to express their individualism. They don't require a name tag nor for you to all wear the same boring shirts as some places. It is also a second chance company, which means that they are also a very inclusive company. It was born out of Washington and has quickly spread across the US, and it's obvious why. Bringing the flavor of the Northwet, where I am from, makes it a nice trip down nostalgia lane. I love that the atmosphere is so colorful and exuberant. The customers feel it too and besides the great fresh food, which can range anywhere from the normal cheese pizza up to a crazy squash covered amalgamation everyone can find something delicious to eat. The ONLY thing even remotely like a sanitizer-scented, uniformly bland sandwich shop is that you can build your way. My recommendation to make it better is that managers are chosen more carefully.
