MOD Pizza is a company that really values and cares about their employees and the communities they serve. MOD Pizza is committed to offering opportunities to individuals who, in some cases, might have a difficult time finding employment. These individuals can include people with criminal backgrounds, people with history of drug or alcohol addiction, and people with physical or mental disabilities. MOD Pizza provides these individuals with opportunities to better their lives, where as other companies in the industry often turn their backs on them. MOD Pizza also encourages their employees to build up their communities and to help those in need. MOD Pizza offers free pizza to people experiencing homelessness in their communities and encourages a culture of being positive, helping others, and doing the right thing among their employees. The only downside of working for MOD Pizza is that it can be very stressful and exhausting at times due to under-staffing issues.

MOD was an excellent experience and taught me not only hard work but gave me the opportunity to grow. I worked at mod for 3 years and moved up to a captains position. Working here you will find your family and life long friends- I have developed bonds with coworkers that I know will last a life time. It is a fun and fast paced environment so be ready to constantly be busy! My only complaint is how they are becoming a franchise, so the "Mod Attitude" of expressing yourself in a fun workplace is not really there anymore which is the reason I left, they care more about reviews and following what everyone else is doing (such as competing with Blaze and Pieology) that they no longer care about their employees like they once did.
This has been my favorite job so far! I have made many lifelong friendships, and have been offered many opportunities for growth. The managers are very flexible with the schedule, and try to make sure that everyone is happy with the amount of hours they work. The tips are usually very nice and tend to be included in the biweekly paychecks. Overall, a great company to work for and I would recommend it as a job for any other college students that need flexible hours.
