Michael Kors Holdings Reviews
I have honestly never really loved a job until I started working at Michael Kors. I always used to dread going to my previous work place because my managers were unprofessional, but at Michael, I am always so excited to go into work and learn about our new products coming in for the month and learn new was to “Experience Michael”! I honestly have made so many long lasting friendships and newly acquired skills!
I enjoyed learning all about handbags and small leather goods. I was very intrigued by all the diversity. Working as a sales associate you are in charge of selling the products on the floor while trying to build clientele. This was something that I felt I excelled in and ended up being a Sales Leader by the time I resigned. This company is very number based, meaning when looking to promote people or fill higher positions, they only care who brings in the most revenue. This is something that I am not a fan of. I felt like customer service was ignored as long as you bring in money. Something I enjoyed while working here was how employee oriented the company is. They’d provide special discounts and company parties. The management team at Michael Kors made my job a lot more enjoyable. They are all very welcoming and approachable when you have a concern/issue. They are very family oriented and want to make sure that your work life does not interfere negatively with your personal life.
I purely enjoy working for this company. There are several pros and not many cons. The pros consist of the 50% employee discount, the option to wardrobe new items and to sell a beautiful bag to a beautiful woman! Michael Kors also takes pride in promoting their deserving employees.
