The sales team is very tight knit and turnover is relatively low. Sales representatives are paid a salary plus spiffs. Since the store serves a very high volume of builder customers, being a sales rep on a salary provides an incentive to spend more one on one time with each customer as they select appliances. The job requires an ability to multi-task and remember a lot of details to be completed for each type of order. Sales reps must be able to work independently and self-motivate. Support from Management is minimal.
