I started working at Menchie's(Prosper, Tx) mid September of 2022. I went in for an interview and imediadly felt welcomed. The manager/owner was very friendly, and they were effeciant with letting me know the status of my application. The rest of the employees were welcoming and didn't hesitate to help me out when I needed. I would recommend working at Menchie!
A great company to work with. Depending on which franchise you work with, you can get some amazing owners. At my franchise the owners truly cared about you. It's a job that provides challenges in a fast-paced work environment, but still allows you to have fun. They care a lot about customer interaction, so you really get to be yourself and have fun with the guests.
It is a relaxed place to work and the hours are flexible.
I like the fact that I can interact with the public.
Management is very understanding of college students and their school/work balance. They recently are training the newer employees on how to handle additional responsibilities like cake making managing children's birthday parties. When I requested vacation time, I did not have a problem scheduling with management as I notified them ahead of time of the two weeks I needed. In addition calling out sick ,which I do rarely, was met with understanding and compassion. There aren't benefits for part time people who work under 10-15 hours a week, however I think minimal benefits should be offered if the job is considered permanent and not temporary.
