I have worked with Memorial Hermann for 13 years. This large company is one of the best companies to work for. Not only does the company provide a great career foundation, it also has many opportunities and benefits.
IT'S A GREAT PLACE TO WORK, I HAVE BEEN 10 YEARS NOW AND I CAN'T COMPLAIN OBVIOUSLY. EVERY INSTITUTION WILL HAVE SIMILAR ISSUES BUT NONE AT HERMANN HAVE BEEN BAD ENOUGH TO SAY IM OUT. I DO WISH THEY OBSEREVED MORE HOLIDAYS OTHER THAN THE MAJOR ONES FOR DOUBLE PAY. IF YOUR WILLING TO LEARN AND ADVANCE YOURSELF, HERMANN IS THE PLACE TO BE, THEY TRULY BELEVE IN TEACHING AS IT IS A TEACHING HOSPITAL.
Memorial Herman children is a great company to work for in the healthcare field. They appreciate their employees by showering us with gifts and gratitudes. The coworkers are very reliable and cares about the patients. I would not change anything about Memorial Hermann.
Well i love how we all work together as a team. When I first started the whole team embrace me to get better at my job. know because of that i am one of the best there with my run and times, and I am only getting better because I like doing. I will train someone if i was ask to and return what was given tome when I started and that is know how.
i like how the organization provide you quality and efficient healthcare. the workers keep your personal information confidential if you are a patient. my father was a patient and he received quality healthcare.
Great place to work if you are on the clinical side or are planning to be a nurse. Support staff do not move up and are not appreciated. Constantly under staffed on the units to save money putting patient safety at risk.
I would like to see more productivity in the hiring process. Myself and other nurses spent months in limbo of receiving the job opportunity or not. People have families and lives to provide for.
I like the way Memorial Hermann educate their staff with the different inservices... love to see change in pay
Memorial Hermann is a great place for students to learn as they're pursuing their career in the medical field. The clinical instructors are very enthusiastic about teaching students which plays a vital role in a student's life. It is a hard course to learn for but is worth it all at the end. Respiratory care therapy is my major where the focus on individuals cardiopulmonary areas. Like any other medical field Respiratory therapists also provide the utmost care to any patients to need medical attention. The working hours and flexible and salaries are usually increased based on experience.
I worked for TIRR Memorial Herman for about 3 yrs, I've really enjoyed this diversity and team building that they offered. I've enhanced my skills so much with the dynamics of the patient population.
I love the Job itself but the training could be better, but the pay of good and the benefits are great!
Working for Memorial Hermann has been a rewarding experience to say the least. We receive a variety of different cases that require special attention and knowledge not obtained at every hospital. Its got us well prepared for different scenarios. However, I would like to see the hospital rewards their newer employees who have put down hard work with more pay compensation.
My manager took the time to care for her employees and I felt that was a great feature to have in a workplace. I think they could work on staffing and dividing up the workload every now and then. Overall company's employee appreciation could improve as well.
The culture of this location is very unorganized. There is little trust between management and staff. Recently there has been so many cutbacks it feels the company does not care about their employees. The main concern is making money and having good outcomes with patients.
