Most of the workers were very nice, however it is a lot of work for a minimum wage job and the residents are very demanding.
So far, so good. I am very impressed with the benefits, but I wish pay for staff was better. I think that the employees that have been with the company through Covid-19 deserve significant raises.
My supervisors are great. I feel like they care about my success and are pushing me to be my best.

My experience at the Holiday Retirement has helped me open my eyes to how elderly go through their every day lives and how I as an employee can help create their days to be more brighter and happier with the type of kindness and passion I bring towards my work. There are many benefits towards students in high school that work at Holiday such as health insurance, dental insurance, free lunch and snacks, and even vacation privileges.
Love my coworkers, but management is not always transparent. Working in the kitchen is the most fun part. Raises are horribly offensive and I was promoted to Team Trainer with no change to my pay.
I liked working in the kitchen of a retirement community. The residents were mostly kind and welcoming and I had good co-workers. We got free meals after the meal service had finished. We had a revolving-door of managers, and that is my biggest complaint.
