Harris Health System Reviews
Rating 4.08 out of 5 13 reviews
We get to go home knowing we do something good everyday. I am passionate about my patient population.
Management isn’t always the most receptive. Lots of red tape to jump through to get things moving and done and communication is subpar, which means that we are behind all the other hospitals and constantly catching up.
However, management tends to be fairly hands off which is nice and allows autonomy.

I like that the company is diverse. It is know for the top level on trauma hospital in Houston, Texas, that makes me proud. I would like for more opportunity for growth, that is for non nurses. I also would like more rotten apples in the company to be treated or disposed of for better work environment. IF the company had more resources, opportunities and benefits for employees.
Harris Health System is great healthcare facility. It's made up of two major hospitals and many health clinics. My favorite aspect of this company is that it is extremely diverse. Greater than 50% of the company are made up of African-Americans and Hispanics. Some points of improvement in communication between the nursing staff and better Labor and Delivery units. The pay is average. There is a new CEO and new Lab Director. What's good is that Harris Health sees the issues they have and are working to improve them.
