Grotto Pizza Reviews
Rating 4 out of 5 2 reviews
This is a very friendly, fun, and fast-pace environment. The money and the people are great! Everyone is family there with the same goal to provide high quality customer service to every single customer that walks through the door. It is great as a first job for anyone who is age fourteen and up. This location is right on the avenue which is literally on the beach. Working next to the beach has made my life so much better. I can’t get enough of the beach breaks I get! You can be trained in any position. They are always looking for help in all areas of the restaurant. Serving is THE way to go. I meet new people from all over the world everyday. Not to mention, the amazing, foreign J-1 students you get to work with on a daily basis. Another reason why I love my job is because of our gelato. Our gelato is healthier than normal ice cream. Although, gelato and ice cream are not the same. Grotto’s gelato just melts in your mouth. I also would like to note that our store is very cleanly.
The work environment is typically fast pace and usually friendly. For the most part everyone gets along and does what they need to. Management could be better and employees should be appreciated for the work that they do. We are rarely given any sort of appreciation. Besides that, I would say my experience at Grotto Pizza has been good and has given me flexible hours to work while always going to school full time.
