It was a very mediocre job. Nothing very excited but made me capable of paying bills. The retail store serviced customers in a standard fashion, nothing unique or outstanding about it.
Started off good. Had plenty of hours and was treated well. By the time my third year of working there came around, it was bad. I was still making very little and new workers ended up making the same as i did. New laws happened that they would have to pay benefits if average amount of hours a week were over 25. They would not consider me full time and cut my hours to 11 a week. Management played favortism with employees and rules did not apply to all.
I love working at Gordmans. Creativity is encouraged, but there is still structure. You are rewarded for your effort, and the work you put in is recognized. All skill levels are represented, and anyone who wants to learn is encouraged to.
