EZCORP Reviews

There is a lot of pressure from higher-ups to get tasks done and sometimes the instructions are foggy or misinterpreted. This is a fast-paced environment and being able to adapt quickly to changes is a skill that people who work here need to have. Hours are flexible, but that depends on the store manager. I am able to work full time and attend school full time because the store manager supports my education. Overall, the benefits are great and the employees are even better. I have definitely learned a lot with this company and encourage others to grow within it.
I liked the opportunities they provided to move up the corporate latter. Many managers, district managers, Regional managers ect... Had started out as a entry level pawn brokers. With hard work dedication, and a consistent adherence to the ever changing corporate policies and procedures in regards to sales and marketing one could shine in the company and be constantly rewarded with promotions and bonuses.
EZCORP could benefit from a little more understanding in vertical communication patterns. From an administration perspective higher may only look at numbers on a spreadsheet and then determine if the store manager was coinciding with the policies. Give the store managers who know their customer base some freedom, and the company will continue to succeed from moral to the profits in the black.

I like the idea that there are several locations all over the world. You work with a team of anywhere from 7-10, and you build relationships that are strong and united. We get great perks: employee discounts, bonus opportunities, contest, we have fun, and our customers become part of our united team. We concentrate on finding solutions to help those that are facing financial challenges, and can’t get a loan from a bank or other lender. We pride our selves in saying, “Yes!”. Everyone has something of value ( a dvd movie) that can produce money. The odds are we do work long hours, Monday-Sunday in some locations. It would be great to operate on banker hours so that we can spend more time with family.
