The company as a whole will work together for the betterment of each patient first and foremost. In addition, the employees will often support each other in ways as a family would for life events whether it be sickness or celebrations. I have loved the flexibility to allow for life events that may have either been missed or cut short. This is a company that I have enjoyed working for and probably the longest yet.
A very large system comprised of many facilities and employees. My experience working in home health has been very positive as Ensign provides easy access to employee resources including benefits, with quick and easy navigation that assists with my personal and financial planning.
I'm a physical therapist assistant at an Ensign skilled-nursing facility in St. George, Utah. Overall, I very much enjoy working for Ensign. The benefits and compensation are fairly sufficient for my skill and experience levels. There are a lot of opportunities for growth. My only issue is, if our company is doing so great and we're obviously making a big profit, where is all the money going? I've never been offered a raise. We seem a little understaffed. And the patient food at our facility is pretty lousy. Surely, some money could go into getting better food, training better cooks, etc. Other than that though, I enjoy working for Ensign.
