I worked the night shift for the warehouse. Loved it! The managers were all really awesome and encouraged us to grow and learn. They listened to what type of work we wanted to do, tried to help us make the maximum amount of money possible. There wasn't too much drama, though it certainly did exist. As long as we tried to listen and do our work as efficiently as we could, things went smoothly. Corporate would visit often and tried to remember our names and have positive interactions with us, it wasn't a forever job, but it was a great first job!
I've worked at the Deseret Book location in Logan, UT and I have never felt more at home. I work with wonderful people and have received the amount of hours that I need. I have been able to pick up shifts and trade mine without problems. I love my job!
I really enjoyed the environment I was in. We were all honest with each other and more importantly had each others backs. I had a co-worker stand up for me to a customer and I will never forget how much that meant to me. If you like working with others, this is a great job for you!
