Nice people and plenty of opportunities to learn various things. From pharmacy assistance to customer service, there are many ways to help and serve customers while gaining more experience and knowledge.
CVS is definitely a profit-driven company. In the three years I've worked there as a technician they have been consistently making cut backs in hours and other resources for my pharmacy, even as our patient intake has reached an all time high. The people I work with are fantastic, but there is such a high turn over rate because the lack of resources and hours leaves shifts understaffed and technicians are overworked.
CVS is a great company! They care about both their customers and their employees. They hold true to their values.
Great stability, flexibility, and good people to work with. I’ve had a great experience while working with the company.
CVS is an amazing company to work for. My colleagues are some of the most ambitious, hardworking and compassionate people I know. CVS treats their employees very well and provides excellent benefits (compensation, 401k, PTO and continuing education). The work-life balance at CVS is also amazing. The company gives employees the flexibility of working from home full time.
While the pay is decent for entry level work, you have no work life balance. Hours are long, and the work is dull. It's the same thing every single day. The warehouse is too loud and you can't listen to your own music. Management/corporate is more hostile than helpful.
I've worked here for 4 years and have loved every minute of it! CVS is the most supportive employer I have had. When it comes to additional training or time off I can count on my supervisor to support me in any way necessary.
CVS offers a very laid-back work enviornment. This is my second job and it has served me very well. At my particular location, I can be extremely flexible with my schedule as I only work weekends as a full-time student. This allows for me to still be committed to the company in ways that I as an individual can. I love it here.
This was in a terrible place to work but there is definitely better and pay is capped so I wouldn't really recommend unless you'd want to be a cashier the whole time you work there.
I like the people and environment at the Saline CVS. The only reason I am still working at CVS is because of my great boss and coworkers.
I put in my 2 weeks today because I have been getting sick due to the way ive been treated, it was great at first but after a few weeks I realized im not putting myself through that mental abuse not only from the customers/patients but my coworkers as well, sounds like my location is just like all the others.
a beautiful environment to work at with friendly coworkers. Well they care about us and they provide a flexible schedule so we can deal with our life. they are so friendly even the boos and the managers they help us a lot. Also they aske us if we need more hours or more days off.
I recommend working at cvs for everyone to help people feel better.

I love the fact that I can earn my national certification while working to support my family and attending school i feel balanced
I really enjoy working here I think it's a great learning experience. I'm currently in college for psychology and it's a great way to learn the business of people and it's very good pay while being a student. It motivates you and I'm never bored. I hate jobs where I just sit around being bored but here it's a very fast-paced busy environment and I've come to enjoy it. I've had the opportunity to learn a lot of new things and meet new people. It's a great place to work and be encouraged to learn a lot about people and different work systems. I've become a more critical thinker and you have to pay attention to details so that has assisted me in my personal life as well. It's made me become more intelligent and think logically as well as become better at certain skills.
I enjoy the patient interaction and I really enjoy the people that I work with. Everyone is so nice and accommodating towards one another. They are always willing to help their coworkers and go out of their way to help the customers. I would like to see CVS stop the budget cuts. There is so much stress that pharmacists and pharmacy staff endure because there are not enough people working, yet deadlines and requirements and time sensitive activities keep stacking up. Thus, there are not enough people working or getting enough hours to work, so everyone eventually moves on from CVS.
Say one thing ,but want you to do opposite. The coupon policy is on counter but you are not supposed to follow if customer argues. Let shoplifter go because of no cameras on them only on the employees. Breaks only if you smoke and the more you kiss ass the more you get. We have a rx shift supervisor who doesn't even work in rx just so he could get more money DL doesn't even know.
Terrible. Carepass is costing good workers their jobs. Upper management is more worried about their livelihood than those below them. They give $3 to the cashier if they complete a sale. But managers get $10k if their store is efficient, including the sale of carepasses.
They continue to keep lazy employees who are consistently rude to customers. Manager tries to encourage employee to become more engaged in CVS, but employee becomes argumentative and berates not just the manager, but supervisors and CVS. Tells customers to shop elsewhere.
Prices are way too high. Even with carepass. You have to be a couponing expert If you are going to save money here
Benefits suck too. You pay $15 to the Union that does squat for you. Part timers aren’t eligible to participate in 401k or ESPP. You essentially make way less than minimum wage because the hours are just not there. They seem to be doing away with front employees and trying to become an urgent care establishment.
