Crossmark is one of the three largest merchandising firms in the USA. We place merchandise and build displays in retail stores such as Walmart, supermarkets, drug stores, and Ulta Beauty.

You are assigned projects online and schedule the projects before the due date of the project. You travel between stores to complete the projects. Mileage between stores and drive time is paid.

The flexibility of creating one's own schedule allows one to schedule work around school commitments.

Unfortunately, Crossmark only pays for time in stores and doing online training. Crossmark does not pay for time scheduling or printing forms.

Sometimes projects will be canceled. I have returned home after completing a project and had it removed from my queue so that I could not report it. I have still not been paid for that project after writing my supervisor twice and his supervisor once.

Being a merchandiser is a good part time job but Crossmark needs to support its field staff better.

I started as an Event Specialist. Things got pretty bad when my hours were cut to 1 or 2 days a week. Dropped events.
I had to move to a different city. ( Mid to late 2018)
I was asked, once moved, before my transfer was complete, if I wanted to be a Team Lead. I said no, but within 3 months, I changed my mind. Within the next 3 months I was Supervisor.
If a person (ES) wants to work 1 six hour shift, 2 six hr shifts, three six hour shifts or 4 six hour shifts, its up to you.
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (I will rotate) are a must if you have open availability.
I have a really good team now.
"We are in this together. In it, to win it!"
I love this job! It is very flexable and my supervisor is always one text or phone call away. If you thrive in a retail environment and have strong attention to detail as well as the ability to learn new things quickly this is a great position for you.
