Costco Wholesale Reviews
COSTCO of New Orleans is my first job out of high school. During high school I worked for 1 year at MacDonald's and 2 years at Texas Roadhouse. I have now worked at COSTCO for almost one year and it has far exceeded the experience at either of my first two jobs. At COSTCO I feel respected as the rules are fair, everyone is treated equally and the pay and benefits are way beyond what was offered in the restaurant business and by other retailers and wholesalers where my friends work. I really like working with the other employees, our customers and at the different jobs on site. Thank you Costco! You've made college possible for me. I hope I can apply my degree skills in the company one day. Please contact me, if you have internships in media communications. Sincerely, Christian Jeffries
First of all, I want to start off by saying that Costco is a great place to work while trying to go to college. If you really talk to your manager in your department he or she will work with you to best fit each other's needs. The overall atmosphere is friendly, their won't be a day where you get to work and feel left out because everyone has one goal in mind, "get in, get out, be courteous to the members, and keep a clean workstation." I definitely recommend working at Costco not only for the diversity, benefits, and pay but for the culture and what Costco stands for. Costco doesn't just look over for the customers but they love to work with there team members as well!
Costco Wholesale is an excellent company to work for long-term. There are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills, meet new people, and move up in the company. There is also a great program for part-time college students! However, it is a stream-lined machine, so one needs to be on their feet, ready to go, and not easily overwhelmed to make the work experience successful. Not advisable for introverts.
