Decent company to work for! Perfect opportunity for career growth! As long as you are willing to learn and accept the politics of banking, anyone can survive here!
Citi provides global opportunities to qualified candidates and you there's lots of promotion potential. However, there are frequent layoffs, particularly in the AML division. Anytime new leadership is chosen, people lose their jobs and this is quite disheartening.
Great benefits! The pay is alright, but the medical, dental, retirement, paid time off, and work life balance is excellent.
Great place to work, they are always trying to improve the work life for their employees. It's very easy to grow in the company and always new businesses to join.
Flexible hours, great pto. They really care about the well being of their employees and they treat you very well. There aren’t many down sides to the company they have a great benefits package that includes health care, 401k. I’ve worked at a lot of companies and this one has the best benefits and great pay. A lot of employees stay for years up to 15. There’s room to grow with the company and a review once a year to determine your yearly raise.
I enjoy my job working as a data analyst. My hours are very flexible, though typically being a bank hours are set as M-F, 9-5. However, benefits are great, including paid time off. Managers have also been great and supportive to my career growth.
The work environment is full of ambitious people, although perhaps that is because many people are focused on making money, getting promoted, etc. The office technology and workspaces are pretty good, so processes are pretty efficient and consistent for the most part. We receive three weeks vacation per year, plus national holidays, so that's decent, too.
i would like to see it be cleaner but that is about it . every one there was really nice and pleasant to work around i would definitely advise this is a good job !
I have been working at Citi for almost four years. I have found the culture to be incredibly supportive and hardworking, and a good start for any recent college graduate.
Very slow with bureaucratic processes hindering many training and transferring moves within the company. Long hours but paid overtime is a huge bonus.
