Carhartt is a great place to work. The employees as well as management spend a lot of time together, so much as though we became like a family. There's never any workplace tension or arguments, and management can trust their employees to complete tasks smoothly and efficiently. Working for a big brand like Carhartt, it's always interesting to meet customers from all over the world. Customers keep the job challenging and rewarding, since I'm getting to help people pick out clothing specific to their needs. One thing I would like to see change from Carhartt is for the corporate side to take retail employees ideas into consideration. As the workers on the frontlines, hearing firsthand what the customers are looking for and what they would like to see more of, the employees have great ideas and opinions on what could be added or enhanced to Carhartt's ever-expanding product line. Aside from this one little tidbit, Carhartt will always be one of my favorite places to work.
Carhartt has a great work environment with a variety of jobs and shifts to work on. The thing I love the most is how their shifts are set up to allow you have enough time for a life outside of work while working enough hours to support your family. Great opportunities for advancement and yearly pay raises. Pay is good and supervisors are pretty nice. Overall, a company I can see myself working at for years.
