Great staff and management. Always willing to help! The jobs are very fair and the pay is really nice compared to the work you do. They give you many things to help out with this job, such as giving you materials that will interest children and always offering new creative ways to help keep children busy. If you like kids, you'll love this job!
Everyone at Bright Horizons is there to help children make discoveries about the world. I have been so impressed by their willingness to grow in their teaching practices and find new ways for children to learn and explore. Bright Horizons is also lgbtq+ friendly and the Boston based centers walk in the pride parade! I myself am queer and I have been made to feel so comfortable and safe and welcome. They have a lot of expectations for teachers and I think that is very meaningful. They also have an insane amount of benefits and perks such as free movie tickets! If you're having trouble deciding what insurance is best for you they have an online program that helps you find the perfect insurance etc that you need so you aren't wasting money. If you are interested in working with children in a diverse and safe environment absolutely look into Bright Horizons! It is also common for many people to work up the chain of the company so keep that in mind if you want something long term!
This is a great place to work, I enjoy all of my coworkers. Management is the only problem with this place, they never spend any time inside the classrooms, they get annoyed when you ask for a restroom break because they need to take your place in the classroom to keep ratios good. All management sit up in the front office playing games/playing on their phones so even if an employee needs to leave work early for an appointment or to pick up their kids from school or because their schedule has ended for the day, they do not come into the classroom to relieve them, they wait until another class ratio is down so they can send another teacher in.
