They were very flexible with scheduling, especially with me being a full time student in university. The management changes frequently at my store , but everyone who has transferred in and out holds the same amount of professionalism as I would expect. I will continue working there until I graduate.
At Big Y, I am a florist. I enjoy my job but wish the management was different. I also feel as if I'm not paid enough for the level of work I preform. I run an entire floral department for minimum wage. I am constantly struggling to battle my work life with my school life just to make ends meet. I do enjoy working with plants and flowers, though.
I work for big y though they're trying to do their best for employees schools have again a delayed opening to May 20 & to continue "thank you pay" to May 2nd not May 20 doesn't help employees who MUST pay for child care in order to attend their shifts. Also, normally 90% of Big Y customers are polite but over the last 3 weeks I've experienced so much nastiness from customers & we are not allowed to voice our opinion or stand up for ourselves when a customer is abhorrently rude. a woman physically grabbed my arm over $0.20 DECREASE in price on bacon. She received the LESSOR price wth
