Banana Republic Reviews
Rating 4.06 out of 5 68 reviews
Banana Republic was technically my first proper retail job. At that point in my life, in 2018, when I applied, I wanted to gain experience in retail. I felt so out of place in the beginning but my coworkers always helped me through the day. They were the most welcoming and kind people. They were all different in personalities, which was great because I learned different approaches to situations from the different management. It was my decision to terminate my employment and although I was sad to go, I did not regret my decision nor do I regret working there.
I like how supportive the company is of diversity and inclusion. There have been a great deal of changes within the company lately and not all of them have been positive. There is poor communication and understanding between corporate and its stores.
My experience here was for a just a seasonal summer job before going to college. I worked part-time, but the store was understaffed so I ended up working almost full time before I put in my two weeks. I was however grateful for the experience I got as a sales rep and then Acting Lead. Made good connections with coworkers.
