Alternative Behavior Strategies Reviews
Rating 4.4 out of 5 10 reviews
Company provides training and will reimburse for any costs. They also pay for tuition if you plan on getting your degree in ABA. Company accepts they are growing and is very receptive to feedback.
Fun training, easy onboarding process, paid training, fun team activities, rewarding getting to change the lives of children and their families
The pay is very competitive for the area and is fitting for the work we provide. Benefits and policies are unclear and need to be clearly stated. Hours may fluctuate moderately but this is due to several factors, including client cancellations. There is no compensation for client cancellations. It may take some time after being hired to obtain a full time working schedule. Some home environments we are asked to work in are awful but the company was accommodating once I voiced concerns. They offer tuition reimbursement for coursework completion which is a great perk for this industry.
My experience with this company has been very positively uplifting and a great step in the door for graduating psychology majors. I came in having little to no experience working with children with autism, and now being 2 years in I can say I love my job as a behavioral therapist. ABS has a great support system and every employee is very friendly and respectful. One of the greatest decisions I’ve ever chosen was to work for ABS!
Starting out in ABA therapy, its a good place to work. There seems to be a lack of communication between workers and management. It's stressful and burn-out can happen very quickly.
It’s a new experience that I enjoy. It’s a service that is necessary and much needed. I hope it expands into the school system.
This company was filled with amazing, dedicated people. The online system used for schedules and communications is extremely helpful. Nothing bad to say!
It's an amazing place to work. We have plenty of opportunities to grow and they offer awesome benefits. People are super nice and friendly. Supervisors have meetings often and like to hear what you have to say and implement your ideas so you feel you are contribuiting to the growth of the company.
A company that is dedicated to helping children with diagnostic conditions is truly close to my heart. To see a child, mostly autistic, come through the door with a parent hoping to better their child's life brings warmth to my soul. I have never worked for a company that truly "helps" people.
