Allegheny Health Network Reviews

The management of this office is amazing. They keep the over-all spirit up in all their employees. I love the work i do. I am an orthopedic technician and I Place patients into cast if needed. Room them, find out what is going on.
Everyday is new and different.
Always something to learn.
Now i am working with a foot and ankle doctor, which i had no idea how involved the foot and ankles are! Also i work with the orthopedic oncologist, she is amazing. Truly the perfect doctor for the situation these patients are possibly facing. The experience alone working with oncology makes you have a whole other appreciation for medicine. It’s also humbling. I would recommend my office as a great learning environment and overall the office staff is truly amazing. From the janitorial staff all the way to the chief orthopedic doctor that runs our department. It’s a great organization and proud to be apart of it.

I am very proud to be a part of a company as distinguished as Allegheny Health Network. From the beginning, I have always felt a community of support for growth and innovation. Not only do I have a very comfortable relationship with my manager, but the COO of the hospital quickly became an icon of admiration. Making sure that the employee's thoughts and ideas were heard was a major pro. When our team discovered a flaw in the system, we brought it up to our manager, who seamlessly informed the necessary people to invoke change. Within a month, our ideas turned into action. Of course there are limitations to some requests, but being so open about the needs of other departments, we are able to understand and create a timeline of progress together. Not only does the company value the employee, the work itself is gratifying. I am happy knowing that every day that I come into work, a life could be changed. Whether its through a conversation, rushing to lend a hand, or simply listening.
The company is lacking a lot of organization and communication between locations and departments, which cause some problems for patients and employees. However, there are many excellent employees who are excellent at their jobs, and they employ many medical professionals who really care about what they're doing.
