Compensation, 401k match are very good. They offer a pension which is a positive plus. For employees, there are awards which can be converted into gift cards. ABBVIE is striving for great heights and that is a positive outlook.
I would like to see a bit more involvement from management with employees that have ideas about more agile ways of doing work. From positive constructive feedback stabdpoint, there is always room for improvement.

Absolutely a phenomenal biopharmaceutical company. I have been working there for three weeks now and the people are friendly and welcoming. I feel comfortable and acknowledged when I step through the doors. Also, the company is very thorough and organized with patient documentation and doctor's orders. I am privileged to be working at such company. Plus, I get to go to certain places in Chicago for free and have huge discounts for vacations.
I worked as a contractor for Abbvie, they take advantage of you until you become an employee. Hard work is not rewarded in the same way as having the "office attitude". If you can socialize and fake engagement, you will have much better luck at a position rather than working hard. However, the benefits and pay are good.
