I live here and have all of my life. It is not a huge city, but there is lots of fun stuff to do. I especially love the food options. There are many places that are only available in Zanesville. One prime example of this is Tom's Ice Cream Bowl. It is an ice cream shop on the North end of Zanesville that has been open at the current location for 51 years. It has retained the same look to it since 1942, even the tables and chairs are all the originals! They have homemade ice cream that they make in shop and roast a variety of delicious nuts every single morning.

As someone who grew up in Zanesville, I am happy to say that I have enjoyed my time here. It is a pretty small area with not very many activities. However, there are a few things like a bowling arena, putt putt, a movie theater, local sports facility (with a gym, court, other indoor sports fields, etc). The people are generally pretty kind and safe. There is a large amount of options for food. Just about everywhere you go there is a different option. There are a lot of local schools nearby for children.
Great restaurants everywhere! There are so many on Maple Ave. that it is impossible to eat at all of them. Many local businesses like Tom's Ice Cream Bowl, or Italian Eatery. There is however a lot of poverty and a lot oh homeless people which I would love to see given a place to stay.
