Yuba City is a very average place of living. There’s nothing that truly stands out. When the question “What’s there to do in good ole Yuba City?” Arises, the somewhat depressing answer is “Um, well... we have a lot of restaurants and... Oh! There’s the bowling ally... and more restaurants?” However, just because the activity in Yuba isn’t exactly exciting, I wouldn’t ever want to leave. Sure, the roads are sup par and it’s always dusty thanks to the nearby orchards, but this ole dusty town has a special place in all our hearts. The residents of Yuba City love to hate it. That’s something we all share and can always spark a conversation about. “Damn this dusty little place!”

I love Yuba City. Yuba City has always been a small town where everyone knows everyone. This city has been expanding by attracting more people and businesses. There are many new restaurants, gyms, and doctor offices that are being opened. One thing that Yuba City is known for is the great agriculture. If you drive throughout the city, you will most likely see orchards full of walnuts, peaches, and so much more! Yuba City is a great city to move too.
Being from a very small town in Earle, Arkansas, Yuba City, California is the perfect rural and suburban mix!

You can travel two hours west and find yourself in the Bay Area or you can travel two hours east and find yourself in the middle of the large freshwater area of Lake Tahoe--home to some of the most amazing ski resorts and views. Yuba City has that hometown feel that almost anyone would be able to take in and appreciate. There are many different types of cuisine available for almost any appetite and you will find many different cultures. This allowed me to see the world, at the tender age of 18, from many different perspectives. I am not living in Germany and I have my six years of living in Yuba City to thank for a smooth transition.
